For Window Keys select that menu option.
Remove key from keyring and then photograph front and back of key with the key horizontal across the frame, ensuring that the key is full frame and in focus as shown in the images below.
Please include something in the image for scale, such as placing the key on graph paper, against a ruler or next to a 2 pence piece.
It may be necessary to provide an extra image of the end of the key, this can be achieved by placing the key between your knees (see image of mortice key below), this will help achieve an in focus image.
Do not reduce the resolution of the photographs before sending as that may make it impossible to decode the key.
Include the make/model of the lock (if known) along with any known codes in the message text.
If you are ordering the keys to your front door it is advisable to have them delivered to a different address (to request delivery to a different address please provide an alternative address in the message text when requesting a quote).
To request a quote select "Quotes" from the menu above and fill in the form - the message will not be sent unless an email address and at least one image is attached.
